Primitive Reflexes are involuntary movements controlled by your baby’s brain stem for survival and proper development. Retention of primitive reflexes can be caused by a variety of factors. ~ When one reflex is retained, often others remain as well so I truly believe we are dealing with the TLR and STNR reflexes in this video. This little guy is fighting a primitive reflex that makes it difficult for him to crawl and stand up right. ~ He loves to be placed in standing because he loves extension and doesn’t have to work his quads to stand.
