These movement patterns are wonderful and important for ANY newborn, but especially important if your baby tends to prefer or often demonstrates a more extended position (knees/hips/back straight). Balance is always key for our bodies, newborns included! So, we need to balance all of that extension (straightening) of the hips/knees/neck with flexion (bending), too!
