They actually wanted $100 for it, but I negotiated. $80 was still a ton of money to spend, but I knew I could make a good profit & it would be a relatively fast flip. Since the body was in great condition, I only needed to refinish the top! In woodcarving I find so much more pleasure in the doing than I do in the finishing (as with so many other things I guess!! 😅). For the most part this is just because I love the process; the slow, mindful shaving away at the wood, the problem solving and that feeling when you get into the zone, when you feel entirely in harmony with the wood that you’re working with.
