It’s Goober’s anniversary! The male Aldabra tortoise came to Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens 56 years ago in 1968. Since we don’t know his birthday, we always use this day to celebrate him by giving him an extra special treat. Goober is estimated to be in his early 70s and weighs around 430 pounds.
